Our San Francisco team has seen increasing success with connecting families at our Alice Griffith site to employment readiness programming and gainful employment opportunities through the Section 3 program.  In this article written by formerly incarcerated Alice Griffith residents, we learn how the Section 3 program along with employment readiness support has aided in the increasing access to jobs in the area.


“I want to change the world,” Scott says like a broken record. “I believe it, I’m going to change the world.”


Scott and Shaw are both living proof that prison doesn’t always break you. Scott said he’s determined to leverage his personal story to show people that positive changemakers for the community can come from the most unlikely and sometimes most unwelcome places.”
