The Alice Griffith development, located in the Eastern Bayview neighborhood, Because of the Choice Neighborhood Implementation grant awarded in 2011, Alice Griffith is now in its sustainability phase. As part of a public-private partnership under the Choice Neighborhood Initiative, USI has been working to increase workforce opportunities and improve access to healthcare, education, and public safety for the residents of the Alice Griffith public housing redevelopment in Bayview.
